What Men Want

I must say that after being in the dating world for a few years, I have come to realize that the male species is even more confusing than the females, regardless of what everybody else thinks. Recently some guy didn’t like the fact that I wore short skirts and some other guys that I have dated loved me to show off my God given gambs. One study suggests that guys like dumb women, another swears that the opposite is true and that men will fall for the smart woman. I always wonder what exactly men are looking for in a woman. What do men really want?

All single girls ask themselves this question when dating. What qualities do guys find attractive in girls? Many studies suggest that there are some basic factors that men look for. First, they say that all men want is to be loved. They want a woman that will totally love them for who they are. Aww. How sweet! Men also want a woman with a sense of humor and one that exudes confidence without being full of herself. Another important factor is that men want approval from their buddies. They want a woman who will get thumbs up from their guy friends when she leaves the table. Other studies suggest that a man just wants a mommy!

Now lets start with the biggest ongoing debate. Do men want beauty or brains? A recent study for a TV news magazine show interviewed 1000 men about this topic. They concluded that 48% of men choose beauty, 36% choose brains and 16% wanted a combination of both. 16%??? What’s wrong with these men? So is this study really true and does it represent the majority of men. So if you have a dumb beautiful woman, what happens when you get so used to her looks, do you stare at each other all day? On the other hand, an intelligent woman could keep you entertained for a lifetime. If I was a man, I would definitely choose a combination of both. There is nothing better than a smart beautiful woman.

A new research study in the Journal of Evolution and Human Behaviour concluded that men want subordinate women and another study suggests that men are four times as likely to be attracted to a woman who is less educated than them. I’m seeing a scaring trend here. Is an educated woman that intimidating? According to these studies, I guess so.

So the question remains, what do men want? I am still confused as ever. If I have to go by the studies, then all men want is a dumb woman. Then I am really out of luck with my extremely high IQ. Hahahaha. Before I end dear readers, I must tell you about another very interesting study. A UK study suggests that how full a man’s stomach is can dictate the type of woman he will like. That means that when a man is hungry, he prefers a much heavier woman. Until next week…
